SAS is the world’s leading analytics software vendor. We are pleased to work with University of Bradford on a curriculum that emphasises Data Analytics as foundational in modern business management. Programmes such as this, coupled with real-world project experience, provide students with the grounding required for careers in a data and analytics-driven world. Data and analytics are now ubiquitous, and the world is the students’ oyster in whichever direction their careers take them.
Learning and assessment
Teaching on the programme will be directed, supported and reinforced through a combination of formal lectures, staff/student led group discussions, personal research and guided self-study, tutorials, seminars and directed reading.
Teaching content and learning material will be informed by timely research and underpinned by case studies of real organisations, which will aid you in acknowledging the opportunities and challenges associated with Management and Business Analytics from practical, real-life perspectives. More specifically, business scenarios will be used during the inclass tutorials and specialist software workshops offer practical, contextual learning.
The School of Management has a long tradition of ensuring that students develop academically with knowledge, understanding and personal skills that are relevant and fit the needs of contemporary business. Together, the exploration of leading research ideas and the application of knowledge and skills to real business problems pose interesting and appropriate challenges to our students.
You will be assessed by a mixture of written examinations, assessed coursework, case studies, group projects and presentations. Assessment is integrated with learning and teaching to support and demonstrate achievement of the learning outcomes for individual modules and the programme as a whole.
You will have the opportunity to meet with members of the teaching team during their weekly ‘feedback hours’ if you require additional feedback or have any questions regarding material from your modules.
Study abroad
A study abroad year is a fantastic opportunity to broaden your horizons, build connections with people from different backgrounds and cultures, and strengthen your skills and experience to make you stand out in the job market.
We have opportunities for students to study, work or volunteer in more than 150 countries across the world and will support you every step of the way.
