Kewen Sun
Biography
Kewen Sun is currently an Associate Professor in Space Technologies at the Bradford-Renduchintala Centre for Space AI, within the Faculty of Management, Sciences and Engineering at the University of Bradford, U.K. He received his Ph.D. in Electronic and Communication Engineering from the Politecnico di Torino, Italy, in 2010. He obtained a Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Udine, Italy, in 2007, and another Master’s degree in Mechatronic Engineering from the University of Science and Technology Beijing, China, in 2005. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Metal Materials and Heat Treatment from Hefei University of Technology, China, in 2002.
He was also a Visiting Scholar at the Centre for Intelligent
Transport Systems, Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Imperial
College London, U.K., from November 2019 to November 2020. He serves as a Youth
Editorial Board Member of the journal Satellite Navigation.
His research interests include satellite navigation and communications, wireless communications, space technologies, space-based artificial intelligence, and advanced signal processing, with a particular emphasis on interference detection and mitigation in satellite navigation systems.
