A wonderful resource of images, stories and ideas for students, staff and members of the public.
Discover over 150 collections of rare books and archives: manuscripts, letters, photographs, artworks, newspapers, maps, pamphlets, objects, digital files, and even J.B. Priestley's pipes.
Our Mission:
Special Collections at the University of Bradford collects, organises, preserves and makes accessible, unique and distinctive collections to support learning, teaching and research for all.
Special Collections and Archives are on the move
The University’s Special Collections and Archives are being relocated to Floor 01 of the JB Priestley Library to provide enhanced facilities for researchers and improved conditions for our important collections.
The Collections will be unavailable from 12 June 2023 to 31 August 2023 to allow for the work.
Special Collections scan and send reprographic service will be suspended from 17 July to 14 August to allow for our collections to be relocated to a new purpose-built strongroom.
