Our foundation year has many routes to our full-time undergraduate degrees.

This page shows the courses you could study at Bradford on successful completion of our one-year foundation degree. Clicking or tapping on a course shows the specific entry requirements for the foundation year, the compulsory foundation year modules, and pass marks necessary to progress from our foundation year to undergraduate study.

Foundation year courses

Course	Progression requirement
Accounting and Finance BSc (Hons)	Pass each module and achieve a programme average of at least 40%. If you do not have the required Maths entry qualification you must study: Maths and Stats for Higher Education.
Animation BSc (Hons)	Pass each module and achieve a programme average of at least 40%. In addition to the relevant core modules, you must study Creative Industries. If you do not have the required Maths entry qualification, you must also study Maths and Stats for Higher Education.
Applied Artificial Intelligence BSc (Hons)	Pass each module and achieve a programme average of at least 40%. In addition to the relevant core modules, you must study Computing. If you do not have the required Maths entry qualification, you must also study Maths and Stats for Higher Education.
Archaeology BSc (Hons)	Pass each module and achieve a programme average of at least 40%. You will study the relevant core modules plus five optional modules.
Biomedical Science BSc (Hons)	Pass each module and achieve a programme average of at least 55%.
Business Studies and Law BSc (Hons)	Pass each module and achieve a programme average of at least 40%. You will study the relevant core modules plus five optional modules.
Business and Management BSc (Hons)	Pass each module and achieve a programme average of at least 40%. If you do not have the required Maths entry qualification you must study: Maths and Stats for Higher Education.
Chemistry BSc (Hons)	Pass each module and achieve a programme average of at least 40%. In addition to the relevant core modules, you must study: Science in Society, Foundation in Human Biology, Foundation in Chemistry. Students who have additional module choices are advised to also study: Introduction to Computing
Chemistry MChem	Pass each module and achieve a programme average of at least 40%. In addition to the relevant core modules, you must study: Science in Society, Foundation in Human Biology, Foundation in Chemistry. Students who have additional module choices are advised to also study: Introduction to Computing
Clinical Technology BSc (Hons)	Pass each module and achieve a programme average of at least 40%. In addition to the relevant core modules, you study at least one of the following: Foundation in Human Biology, Foundation in Chemistry. If you do not have the required Maths entry qualification, you must also study Maths and Stats for Higher Education.
Criminology and Criminal Behaviour BA (Hons)	Pass each module and achieve a programme average of at least 40%. You will study the relevant core modules plus five optional modules.
Economics BSc (Hons)	Pass each module and achieve a programme average of at least 40%. If you do not have the required Maths entry qualification you must study: Maths and Stats for Higher Education.
Film and Television Production BA (Hons)	Pass each module and achieve a programme average of at least 40%. In addition to the relevant core modules, you must study Creative Industries. If you do not have the required Maths entry qualification, you must also study Maths and Stats for Higher Education.
Film and Visual Effects Technology BSc (Hons)	Pass each module and achieve a programme average of at least 40%. In addition to the relevant core modules, you must study Creative Industries. If you do not have the required Maths entry qualification, you must also study Maths and Stats for Higher Education.
Finance and Economics BSc (Hons)	Pass each module and achieve a programme average of at least 40%. If you do not have the required Maths entry qualification you must study: Maths and Stats for Higher Education.
Forensic Archaeology and Anthropology BSc (Hons)	Pass each module and achieve a programme average of at least 40%. In addition to the relevant core modules, you must study: Science in Society, Foundation in Human Biology, Foundation in Chemistry. Forensic Science BSc (Hons)	Pass each module and achieve a programme average of at least 40%. Forensic and Medical Sciences BSc (Hons)	Pass each module and achieve a programme average of at least 55%. Game Design and Development BSc (Hons)	Pass each module and achieve a programme average of at least 40%. In addition to the relevant core modules, you must study Creative Industries. If you do not have the required Maths entry qualification, you must also study Maths and Stats for Higher Education.
Graphics for Games BA (Hons)	Pass each module and achieve a programme average of at least 40%. In addition to the relevant core modules, you must study Creative Industries. If you do not have the required Maths entry qualification, you must also study Maths and Stats for Higher Education.
Heritage and Archaeology BA (Hons)	Pass each module and achieve a programme average of at least 40%. You will study the relevant core modules plus five optional modules.
International Business and Management BSc (Hons)	Pass each module and achieve a programme average of at least 40%. If you do not have the required Maths entry qualification you must study: Maths and Stats for Higher Education.
International Relations, Politics and Security Studies BA (Hons)	Pass each module and achieve a programme average of at least 40%. You will study the relevant core modules plus five optional modules.
Law with Business and Management LLB	Pass each module and achieve a programme average of at least 40%. You will study the relevant core modules plus five optional modules.
Management and Business Analytics BSc (Hons)	Pass each module and achieve a programme average of at least 40%. If you do not have the required Maths entry qualification you must study: Maths and Stats for Higher Education.
Marketing BSc (Hons)	Pass each module and achieve a programme average of at least 40%. If you do not have the required Maths entry qualification you must study: Maths and Stats for Higher Education.
Nursing (Mental Health) BSc (Hons)	Pass each module and achieve a programme average of at least 60%. Participate and be successful in the selection or interview progress for the degree programme. Successfully complete a disclosure and barring service check and a health check. In addition to the relevant core modules, you must study Foundation in Human Biology. If you do not have the required Maths entry qualification, you must also study Maths and Stats for Higher Education.
Occupational Therapy BSc (Hons)	Pass each module and achieve a programme average of at least 60%. Participate and be successful in the selection or interview process for the degree programme. Successfully complete a disclosure and barring service check and health check. In addition to the relevant core modules, you must study Foundation in Human Biology. If you do not have the required Maths entry qualification, you must also study Maths and Stats for Higher Education.
Pharmaceutical and Cosmetic Science BSc (Hons)	Pass each module and achieve a programme average of at least 55%. In addition to the relevant core modules, you must study: Foundation in Human Biology, Foundation in Chemistry.
Psychology and Criminology BSc	Pass each module and achieve a programme average of at least 40%. If you do not have the required Maths entry qualification you must study: Maths and Stats for Higher Education.
Psychology with Counselling BSc (Hons)	Pass each module and achieve a programme average of at least 40%. If you do not have the required Maths entry qualification you must study: Maths and Stats for Higher Education.
Public Health and Community Wellbeing BSc (Hons)	Pass each module and achieve a programme average of at least 40% and successfully complete a disclosure and barring service check. In addition to the relevant core modules, you must study two of the following: The Sociological Imagination, Foundation in Human Biology, Foundation in Chemistry, Global Business Environment.
Social Work BA (Hons)	Pass each module and achieve a programme average of at least 40%. Participate and be successful in the selection/interview process for the degree programme. Successfully complete a disclosure and barring service check and a health check. If you do not have the required Maths entry qualification you must study: Maths and Stats for Higher Education.
Sociology BA (Hons)	Pass each module and achieve a programme average of at least 40%. You will study the relevant core modules plus five optional modules.
Working with Children, Young People and Families BA (Hons)	Pass each module and achieve a programme average of at least 40%. You will study the relevant core modules plus five optional modules.
